ChairmanNorrie Russell
We are all saddened by the death of our Chairman, Norrie Russell. His lust for life and fanatical interest in anything two wheeled marked out a man of real enthusiasm and wit. Our thoughts are with Christine and his family. |
SecretaryMichael Craig
Before retiring Michael was an electronics engineer working on radio and automation systems for the Northern Lighthouse Board. He has travelled extensively in Scotland and most of the islands. His time is divided between old motorcycles, sailing and repairing 'stuff' .....
Currently he has a 1943 James autocycle, a 1954 Matchless G3, a 1966 Norton Jubilee and a 1979 BMW R65. Of yes, and an unmentionable Velocette thing ... and another one in a box. |
TreasurerBill Jeffrey
'Bill spent most of his working life in the agricultural field, alternating between consultancy, research and teaching. He still runs a company manufacturing rinse nozzles typically used in crop sprayers. He first rode motorcycles as a callow youth (on private ground), including his brother's Ariel NH, that led to a life long Ariel habit. His house of the horse stable includes another NH identical to his brother's bike, an FH Huntmaster, and a long term project that once resembled a Leader (that he doesn't like admitting to!). In more recent years he has forayed into the vintage world via a 1929 Sunbeam Model 8, and has recently joined the Velocette fold with a 1956 MSS.'
